This is a fixed-term contract role tied to a specific project, with a predefined base pay.
Project Overview
We need a contract motion designer to create a short video (or small set of videos) that matches the visual energy and polish of three provided reference clips. Expect clean, modern typography; playful yet purposeful transitions; snappy timing synced to VO or music; and a premium, tech-forward aesthetic.
Timeline is firm. Please apply only if you can commit to a 5 to 6-day turnaround starting immediately after contract signing.
Responsibilities
Translate the provided samples into a fresh yet consistent look & feel.
Design on-brand graphics, icons, and typography (or adapt existing assets).
Animate scenes, transitions, and text with smooth easing and dynamic motion.
Sync visuals to VO/music and handle basic sound design as needed.
Iterate quickly (24-hour turnaround per revision round).
Deliver polished exports and neatly organized project files.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years professional motion-graphics experience (agency or freelance).
Portfolio demonstrating work in a similar visual style (link required).
Expert in After Effects; strong Illustrator / Photoshop / Figma skills.
Comfort with tight deadlines and remote collaboration (Slack / Zoom).
Excellent communication and self-management.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with SaaS / tech brand explainers.
Familiarity with 3D, particle systems, or character rigging.
Sound-design experience or access to quality SFX/music libraries.
